Help Us Build the Practice Families Hope to Find. At Chatterbox Pediatric Therapy, we believe the best therapy begins with relationships. We believe children grow best when they feel safe, understood, and connected. We're not simply a place where children come to receive therapy—we're a place where children are known. Our multidisciplinary team provides individualized, play-based, neuro-affirming care that looks beyond diagnoses and isolated skills to support the whole child and the whole family. We're looking for an Occupational Therapist who is passionate about helping children participate more fully in everyday life through play, connection, collaboration, and evidence-informed care. Whether you're an experienced pediatric OT or a new graduate, you'll be welcomed by a team that believes mentorship, curiosity, humility, and kindness are just as important as clinical expertise.
Why Clinicians Choose Chatterbox
We know you have choices when it comes to where you build your career. At Chatterbox, we've intentionally created an environment where clinicians feel supported, respected, challenged, and encouraged to grow—because we believe exceptional care starts with exceptional people. Here, you'll find:
A Variety of Clinical Opportunities
No two Occupational Therapists are exactly alike—and neither are our caseloads. We'll work with you to build a schedule that aligns with your interests, strengths, and professional goals. Depending on your preferences, opportunities may include:
Whether you're passionate about sensory integration, emotional regulation, feeding, executive functioning, fine motor development, self-care skills, or supporting infants and toddlers through Early Intervention, you'll have the opportunity to build a meaningful and rewarding career.
What Does It Mean to Be an OT at Chatterbox?
It means having the opportunity to practice occupational therapy the way you envisioned when you chose this profession. You'll help children participate more fully in the things that matter most—from playing and learning to dressing, feeding, regulating, building relationships, communicating, and becoming more independent. You'll have access to a large sensory gym and a variety of therapeutic equipment, but we believe the most important therapy tool is understanding the child in front of you. We want our Occupational Therapists to bring both their clinical expertise and their creativity to every session. To ask thoughtful questions. To see possibility where others see challenges. To partner with families. To celebrate progress that isn't always measured on a standardized assessment. And to remember that meaningful participation—not perfection—is the goal.
Who Thrives at Chatterbox
Technical knowledge matters. Character matters just as much. The Occupational Therapists who thrive here naturally demonstrate the values that shape our culture.
Appreciation
You celebrate small victories and intentionally encourage children, families, and teammates.
Service
You believe serving children and families is both a privilege and a responsibility.
Professional Growth
You enjoy learning, asking questions, and continually growing as a clinician.
Integrity
You communicate honestly, take ownership of your work, and do what's right—even when no one is watching.
Responsibility
You understand that every member of the team contributes to our shared success and you're willing to jump in where needed.
Empathy
You look beyond behaviors to understand the child, support the family, and approach every interaction with compassion and respect. If these values resonate with you, you'll probably feel right at home here.
Qualifications
New graduates are encouraged to apply. We believe exceptional clinicians are developed through mentorship, support, and curiosity—not simply years of experience.
Our Hybrid Compensation Model
We recognize that excellent occupational therapy doesn't begin and end when a treatment session does. Planning. Documentation. Caregiver coaching. Clinical reasoning. Team collaboration. These responsibilities are essential parts of helping children make meaningful progress. That's why our clinicians are compensated for both:
Because your expertise extends far beyond the minutes spent in the treatment room.
Benefits
Our full-time clinicians enjoy:
Maybe We're the Right Fit...
We know we're not the right fit for every clinician—and that's okay. If you're looking for a place where collaboration is expected, relationships come before productivity, families are true partners, and lifelong learning is part of the culture, we think you'll feel right at home. If you're looking for a team that values humility, curiosity, service, and excellence, we'd love to meet you.
About Chatterbox Pediatric Therapy
Chatterbox Pediatric Therapy is a collaborative outpatient pediatric therapy clinic serving children and families in the Savannah and Pooler communities. Our team provides speech, occupational, physical, and feeding therapy in an environment designed to help children build the communication, developmental, and functional skills they need to thrive. At Chatterbox, we believe pediatric therapy is more than a job—it is meaningful work that supports children during some of the most important stages of their development. Our clinicians partner closely with families, caregivers, and other therapists to create individualized, play-based treatment plans that support each child's unique strengths and needs. Our clinic was built with the belief that children make the greatest progress when clinicians are supported, respected, and able to collaborate across disciplines. Because of this, we intentionally foster a team culture where therapists can share ideas, learn from one another, and grow professionally.
Our Interdisciplinary Approach
Children rarely develop skills in isolation. Communication, motor development, sensory processing, and feeding often overlap, which is why collaboration between therapy disciplines is central to the way we practice. Our team includes speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, physical therapists, and feeding specialists who work together to provide coordinated care that supports the whole child. Clinicians regularly collaborate to share insights, problem-solve challenges, and develop treatment strategies that help children succeed both in therapy and at home.
